- MAT 102 - Introduction to Statistics (3) An introduction to statistical methods for describing sets of data, probability, sampling distributions, estimation, tests of hypothesis and regression analysis.
- MAT 124 - PreCalculus Math (3)
Designed to prepare students for MAT211 Calculus I. It develops the concept of a function in some datail through an indepth treatment of polynomial, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions. Additional topics include complex numbers, the law os sines and cosines, and linear modeling with systems of linear equations. Manipulative skills are enhanced through a focus on conceptual development and applications. Graphical concepts will be stressed throughout the course.
