- BIO 261 - Ecology (3)
The ecosystem as a basic concept, the interaction of organisms with each
other and the non-living environment, and the implications for human well-being. 
Three lectures per week.
 
- CHE 309 - Organic Chemistry
(4) The chemistry of carbon compounds, including natural and synthetic
substances, their properties, reactions, preparation, and reaction mechanisms. 
Three lectures and three hours of laboratory per week.
 
- CSC 181 - Computer
Programming I (3) Introduction to computer programming and its applications
via structured methods and the Pascal programming language.  Case
studies to illustrate a variety of applications.  Designed for majors
in computer science, business information systems, and mathematics.
 
- MAT 211 - Calculus
III (4) Vectors, multivariable functions, partial derivatives, multiple
integration, and theorems of Green and Stokes.
 
- MAT 261 - Linear Algebra
(3) Systems of linear equations, vector spaces, linear dependence, bases,
dimension, linear mapping, matrices, determinants, eigenvalues, and geometric
applications.
