- HIS 134 - Social History of Medieval England
(3) Exploration of the ways ordinary (and some not-so-ordinary) people
coped with both daily life as well as major historical events that occurred
in England from the Norman Conquest to the Tudor dynasty. Special
emphasis is placed on life within the communities of family, village, court,
church, and city.
- MAT 308 - Differential
Equations (3) First and second order linear differential equations.
LaPlace transforms, systems of differential equations with applications.
- PHI 318 - NonWestern
Philosophy (3) Investigation of important non-Western philosophers and/or
schools of thought.
- RET 237 - Introduction
to Christian Theology (3) A survey course dealing with the history and
present expressions of classic Christian understandings of God, Christ,
the Holy Spirit, humanity, creation, redemption, etc. Issues of theological
method will also be introduced especially as this relates to the integration
of faith and learning in various academic disciplines.
- STA 292 - Statistics
for the Mathematical Sciences II (3) Further topic in probability and statistics:
two sample estimation and hypothesis testing, analysis of variance, categorical
data, multiple regression, nonparametric techniques.
- STA 325 - Experimental
Design (3) Experimental designs and analyses for a variety of problems:
completely randomized, factorial, block, Latin square, nested.
