- BIL 105 - Introduction
to Bible Study (3) General introduction to the origin, nature, and preservation
of the Christian Scriptures and to the development of a methodology for
Bible study and the application of biblical truth to contemporary life.
- BIO 194 - Biology II
- Botany (4) The second of two courses which introduce science majors to
the foundational principles of the Life Sciences. Particular emphasis
will be given to aspects of physiology, plants, and the origins of life.
Three lectures and three hours of laboratory per week.
- CHE 106 - General Chemistry
(4) Atomic and molecular structure, chemical bonding, physical and chemical
equilibria, the energetics of chemical reactions, electrochemistry, the
periodic table, and introductory descriptive chemistry of the elements.
Laboratory work includes elementary quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Three lectures and three hours of laboratory per week.
- IDSC260 - Cross-Cultural Tour : Italy (3)
A field based examination of one or more cultures which seek to increase
the students' appreciation for and understanding of cultural traditions
other than their own. The discipline of cultural anthropology serves
as the foundation upon which the course is designed. Requires three
weeks of on-site study, including either extended home-stays or ethno-graphic
fieldwork in the lingua franca, in addition to readings, lectures, and
site visitations.

Math Seminar (1) Overview of mathematics major; selected topics from finite
mathematics and mathematical reasoning.
- PSY 111 - Introduction to Psychology (3)
Introduction to modern psychology including its major theorists and methodologies
and an overview of developmental, social, and abnormal psychology.
